Amy McGrath, a former lieutenant Marine fighter pilot and mother of three, ran against Republican incumbent Andy Barr as the Democratic nominee for Kentucky’s 6th congressional district in the 2018 elections. McGrath ran a campaign based on economic development, healthcare, and an unwillingness to engage in a negative campaign against her opponent. In the end, the incumbent nominee was re-elected.
I photographed the final week of the McGrath campaign through election night, as can be seen in the images that follow.
